How do you get sap off of fresh cut wood.?

I recently went to a camp and found fresh cut cedar that was really beautiful so I grabbed a chunk. Well I'm a city gal and didn't realize that there was sap seaping out of it. I want to display it on my desk but how do I get rid of the sap? Should I clean it or does it just dry up on its own?

Let it dry out in a warm place for a few months, then sand away crystals or clumps of sap. While drying out, the sap will ooze and drip, so place the wood on a piece of card board, any stuck on cardboard will easily sand away later.

Where to buy glass pieces with holes to make a wind chime?

I am wanting to make a glass windchime and can't seem to find anyone who sells the pieces with holes so I can string them to the wind chime base? Any suggestions?

Don't restrict yourself to a small number/selection of pre drilled.
Buy a drill bit for glass and drill your own. There will be some waste till you get the "touch" but worth it for variety and selection.
